Some sight seeing before the ride

Patty took me and Kevin out for some sight seeing and fun before the ride starts on monday. these are just some pics from the day.

here is a dancing girl at the "summer solstice" parade in fremont.
Kevin, me and James at the "troll" dont ask me its just a thing under a bridge and you cant see it but hes got a beetle car in his hand.

This is either the cascade or olympic mountains, but who cares right!! their pretty (as long as your not riding your bike over them!!)

Stephanieeeeeeeee
I cried all day yesterday... I think everyone at work thought that i was crazy... but you know i am getting kinda used to that. EVERONE at VBS asked about you and if you had made it to Seattle or not and every time someone would ask about you i would fight back tears... and then I would recover and then someone else would ask about you... it was a vicious cycle... Matt and I kinda hung out all day together yesterday... ummm Kim needed some drivers to take all of those extra cars from the sale to the Kinston lot so I called Matt and he was sleeping but he was more than happy to come on out and help us... the Norm came too and it was really nice spending time with him while at work... Anyways Matt gave me a lot of comfort being there and I think he kinda understood what I was going through... We did not talk much in the car on the way home but he knew that I was crying and did not make me feel weird or silly for being so emotional... I rode my bike today... I was going to go to Lowes to get the right screws for my bike rack and on the way there Emily called and wanted to meet up a little bit earlier than we had originally agreed... She was in complete aww that I had rode my bike ALL the way to town and then all the way to Andys in Pikeville. It was so funny I wish you could have see it. She took me to a church convention and it was REALY good. I think it was targeted for high schoolers but I got a lot out of it.
Praying for You,
Cidea lol

Hi Stephanie!
My name is Ane Klomps. I did the ride last year and am just writing to say, GOOD LUCK!! I am from Minnesota and won't be there tomorrow to lead you out of town (or get you lost, more like), but I will certainly be there in spirit. I hope that this big ride is everything you expect it to be. May you have many a tailwind and good conversation!
Have fun!!
Ane

Just so you know - that photo was of Mt. Olympus, so those were the Olympic Mountains you saw.

You've already ridden over the Cascades by now.
